Helena Spencer || 18 || Original Member

• Enrollment: Entered in her junior year of high school.
• Writer’s Enrollment: In Helena’s old public school, they had an essay writing contest and Helena’s essay was truly something her school has never seen. An administrator showed the principle of Ernest Academy and personally chose her to be a student at their school, granted on a full scholarship. The first task given to her by the school was to join the Writers’ Club.

Helena currently lives alone in a run down apartment outside of town because although she’s been given a scholarship, the school doesn’t exactly pay for living expenses. She had to move away from her family to attend Ernest Academy, even though it was a relief for her. Her parents are not really sentimental, and both have  had mental history when they were teenagers. Her parents met in a mental hospital, they were both suicidal but fell in love and saved each other. However, when Helena was ten, she was kidnapped and both parents fell into depression, becoming incapable of doing anything. They basically froze in fear. Eventually, the police found Helena and discovered that the kidnapper was her next door neighbor and that she was raped as well. From then on, Helena lost respect for her parents and became extremely independent. Helena refuses to be called “Lena” because the rapist’s voice haunts her with that name to this day. 

Unlike her parents, Helena’s older brother, Keith, is the only one she refers to as family. He was the one who almost went on a rampage searching for her when she was kidnapped. They both share bitter feelings toward their parents and are very close. But the happiness didn’t last and Keith joined the military, so she only talks to him through letters, always lying and telling him everything is good when rather she’s lonely because she’s in an unfamiliar environment. 

You’ll always find anything musically-related with Helena. She loves music and wants to go to Julliard for college as a composer. Helena is sweet and friendly, but always has her guard up and never lets anyone get too close. Because of her past, she doesn’t let anyone touch her. Helena always keeps her past close and never lets anyone know anything about her, so she seems extremely mysterious. She’s kind and caring but she does know how to say no at the right times and yes at the right times as well. Helena doesn’t have much opinion and prefers to keep it to herself, and always wonders what she’d be like if she was brought up differently.

• Has tattoos but uses the Ernest Academy uniform to cover them.
• Is usually always calm and chill unless someone tries to poke their nose into her past.
• Appears shady to others.
• Stays out of others’ business.
• A bit of an outcast.
• Likes to spend her time trying to write songs in her apartment.

• Oliver Wayde: Befriends Oliver because of their common interest in music.
• Richard Terri: Feels a strange attraction to Richy but thinks he’s weird because she always feels him watching her.
